My name is Andrew Abbott. I was born in 1976 and have been working in the photography industry for 12 years. My primary job is as the IT manager of an aerial photography company called Bluesky.

My interest in photography began in the late 1990's with my first purchase being a Canon EOS 5000. It was the lowest of the Canon range but at the time it was on special offer and all I could afford.
Just after Canon launched their first mainstream digital SLR, the 300D, I found myself with some spare cash. I decided that now was the time for me to enter the digital camera market and everything started from there.

Since then I've taken my camera anywhere and everywhere, done promotional work for several organisations, including Donington Park, and been asked to be the photographer for Ashby and Orton on the Hill riding club. I've also photographed several bands and charity events in my local area.

When I'm not walking through muddy fields I enjoy mountain biking, squash, badminton and other less energetic sports such as snooker, golf and walking. I am an avid traveller and a keen follower of motorsport. I have also been known to play drums from time to time...
